Introducing Mobile Seniors

Jason Piper

I have finally decided to pursue what I am most passionate about - sharing my knowledge to help over 55's maintain their mobility and stay physically independent for longer.

Mobile Seniors began from looking within my own family situation. I realised that for over 55's (my parents and grandparents) there was no service within the fitness industry that catered to their true needs. It was all about looks, size and anything else to do with the outward appearance. Talking to my family and reaching out to retirement villages within my local area I started to understand that the biggest need was not to look 30 years younger (although I'm sure that would be nice) or be the fittest best looking individual, it was to improve and maintain a good quality of life through prolonged physical independence.

As a personal trainer, decreased mobility for my senior clients started to become a regular occurring pattern. This is why I started Mobile Seniors because I believe there is a strong need for knowledge and services which actually address this issue - providing the best ways for seniors to stay mobile, stay fit and stay physically independent is my goal.
